Branding and Art Direction

Brand Identity I created for Heard, an up-and-coming PR and marketing startup based in Birmingham.

As a self-initiated project, I created a brand identity that aimed to make an impact with its loud presence to align with the brand’s distinct values. Utilising a combination of vibrant colours with bold photography and illustration to immediately capture a reader’s attention and draw them into the brand.

The overlapping circles function as a metaphor for the agency’s loud presence and PR communications, the overlap visualises the working relationships between them and their clients and presents the public image as being far-reaching despite being created by a relatively small start-up. This was inspired by the visualisation of sound when playing music.

Doing this project really helped me to understand better how public relations agencies work and how they can get your name and brand known in your target market.
